IWIW2 Program

The 2nd edition of the International Wheat Innovation Workshop (IWIW2) is the opportunity to create contacts between wheat research teams, exchange information and ideas on specific topics of interest, and pave the way for the future “FP9” programme.

This workshop is organised at the initiative of the BreedWheat project (, and associates the following wheat programmes: Design Future Wheat program (UK BBSRC), proWeizen (German reserach and breeding alliance) and CRP Wheat (CGIAR challenge program) as well as the Wheat Initiative.

Introduction (8h30 - 10h30):

Impulse talks (11h - 12h40):

The following sessions have been defined in link with the coming H2020 calls (notably SFS-13-2020 Genome enabled breeding). For each of them, impulse talks will be presented and then exchanges between participants will organised using the "World café" methodology.

The outcomes of the IWIW2 will be potentially new contacts, partnerships and networks, and the production of a “white paper” taking into account the synthesis of the different working groups, that could be used afterwards as the basis for future programmes, and for lobbying.
