Here is some practical information to help your preparation for attending ISE 2020.

Important dates

  • December 10, 2019: Final decision on abstract acceptance - proposition of the LOC for each abstract (refused, accepted for oral presentation in special issue session, accepted for oral presentation in general session and accepted for poster)
  • January 13, 2020 to February 28, 2020: Early bird registration from

The Lyon Convention Center (Centre de Congrès de Lyon in french) is located in beautiful surroundings between Lyon’s famous Tête d'Or Park and the Rhône River. At the heart of the Renzo Piano designed Cité International district, in addition to the state of the art events complex, are a number of activities and features in place for the comfort of attendees.

The easiest solutions to reach downtown from LYS: Taxi or Tramway: RhonExpress (From Lyon-Saint Exupery airport you can reach Lyon Part-Dieu station in less than 30 minutes by the fast tramway RhonExpress)


By train: Lyon Part Dieu Station and Lyon Perrache Station railway stations [For the French rail network see here]

The easiest solutions to reach downtown from the railway stations: Walk; Bike; Rent a Scooter: Li, Voiscooters, Flashtrottinettes; Take a Taxi; Use Lyon Public Transport (TCL) network.

When logged with your account on this page, you will be able to submit your abstract directly on the web site of ISE2020. Please see the simple but important Instructions for Authors before filling out the online application. Any of the recorded text can be freely changed until final submission.

IMPORTANT: note that One abstract = One speaker (Author Speaker) = One registration


Boards to attach the posters are 1 m width, with a poster on each side.


The format of posters should be = A0 (84.1*118.9 cm; 2.76*3.90 ft).

Each poster will be identified by a number. This number will be indicated on a board. Please affix your poster on the board before the beginning of the first poster session (during lunch or breakes).

The first Poster Session is scheduled for MONDAY 25 MAY 2020 – 16:30.

Lunch and Gala Dinner

Registration includes breaks and lunches from MONDAY 25 MAY to THURSDAY 28 MAY 2020

(i.e. one 30' morning brake,  one lunch between 12:15 and 13:45 and one 30' afternoon break each day)

Registration also includes an ice breaker - welcome aperitif (MONDAY 25 MAY - 18h30 - 20h30)

Please note that Registration does not include the Conference Diner. The price of the conference diner is 70 €.
