The programme included 3 keynote lectures, 41 oral presentations (15 minutes each, with additional dedicated time for live Q&A) in 10 sessions, 5 poster sessions introduced by 3 or 4 flash-poster presentations, and 4 workshops.

The workshops were open to a limited number of attendees for better interactive participation.
Registration to the workshops (included in registration fees) was mandatory. Each registered participant to the symposium had the opportunity to register to one or more workshops.
